ADVANCED SEMINAR IN BIOTECHNOLOGY

Catalog description

An advanced biotechnology seminar course designed for students transitioning to their master's year in NJCSTM's 5 yr combined BS in Molecular Biology/MS in Biotechnology Program. The course will provide an understanding of emerging technologies and their use in biotechnology through discussion of research papers from the recent sientific literature. Students will gain an appreciation for approaches used to investigate complex biological problems with high levels of ambiguity and the technological advances that have helped solve these problems.
