ADVANCED SEMINAR IN STEM EDUCATION

Catalog description

An advanced STEM Education seminar course designed for students transitioning to their graduate year in NJCSTM’s 5-year combined BS in Science & Technology / MA in Curriculum & Instruction Program. The course will provide an in-depth investigation into the development and progression from an intern to a teacher. Professional skills and responsibilities, such as the use of electronic tools to demonstrate professional competencies will be discussed and practiced. Finally, professional panels of local school district administrators and STEM program alumni will be organized to share unique challenges and inspirations from the field.
