Catalog description

This is a third semester laboratory course, complementing STME*2200. Laboratory experiments correspond directly with concepts learned simultaneously in the lecture portion of the course. This course emphasizes numerical techniques derived from large linear systems of equation including the principal component analysis and the Fast Fourier Transform. Spectral filtering of audio signals and data reduction using principle component analysis.
