Catalog description

Introduction to the origin, organization, and function of living biological systems with mathematical applications and analysis. Laboratory experiments correspond directly with concepts learned simulataneously in the lecture portion of the course. Student will utilize several traditional and cutting edge techniques in the biotechnology laboratory to clone and sequence novel DNA constructs. The output of their effort in this laboratory will be used for future authentic research endeavors in RFI streams and/or independent research.
