This course focuses on the radical social ideas of Rousseau, Comte, Marx, Smith, and others which has influenced modern social sciences, in general and sociology in particular. The course also stresses the social scientific methods developed by Durkheim, Pareto, Weber, and others to analyze contemporary and future societies. (Previously NJCU Course SOCI-421)
