Major types of research design and techniques are studied: interviewing, questionnaires, experiment, social survey, and participant observation. Methods of data processing and analysis are also examined. The course emphasizes the critical reading and understanding of research studies. Pre-requisite: SOCI 111 Principles of Sociology. (Previously NJCU Course SOCI-360)
