COGNITIVE ASSESSMENT II WITH PRACTICUM

Catalog description

This course provides students with basic competencies in the selection, administration, scoring and interpretation of individually administered tests of intelligence and achievement in regards to toddlers, infants, and children. The Wechsler scales will be highlighted. Issues of theory, research, clinical utility and ethics are addressed. Special attention will be given to issues relating to culturally sensitive assessment methodology.
