Catalog description

This course examines the interprofessional role of the school personnel in supporting the learning and social-emotional development of children and adolescents. Candidates will collaborate with colleagues in school-related training programs and professions (e.g., teachers, child study team members, administrators, families, community agencies, etc.) to learn about, from, and with each other to enhance collaboration and improve outcomes for children. Students will share individual professional skills, build teamwork strategies, and collectively consider systemic and organizational issues that impact children in the schools.
