Catalog description

This course is designed to facilitate students’ development of cognitive and practical counseling skills, including micro-counseling skills, initiating and maintaining a therapeutic relationship, goal setting, case conceptualization, case management, case presentation, and application of counseling theories and techniques. Students will receive individual and group supervision from faculty supervisor. Graded on a credit granted/no credit basis.
