CLINICAL AND GROUP PRACTICE IN FAMILY THERAPY

Catalog description

A survey of advanced counseling techniques designed to teach students about practical and theoretical concepts, theories and research, practice and methods and group processes inherent within group counseling formats (therapy, psychoeducation, and support) in outpatient and inpatient settings. Students will explore interpersonal dynamics, personal communication styles, group strategies and facilitation through class and experiential work.
