Leadership is not something that can be learned solely as 'on the job training'. The study of organizational issues such as organizational structure, motivation, leadership, team building, organizational commitment and group dynamics in settings can have a profound effect on the development and evolution of programming. The practical implementation of the programming models: clubhouse, partial hospitalization, Boston University approach, and others will be discussed.
