ADVANCE EXERCISE TESTING, PRESCRIPTION AND INTERPRETATION

Catalog description

The students will examine the use of exercise to evaluate and improve fitness. Emphasis is placed on (1) appraising fitness, (2) the application of individualized exercise prescription for rehabilitation of disease, (3) the formulation of fitness programs, and (4) a critical evaluation of research on the physiologic adaptions to exercise.
