The emphasis of this experience will be on the coordination and collaboration of medical care in the inpatient and/or outpatient settings for the female patient. Students will be familiar with the diagnosis, treatment and management of the female patient while taking into consideration the additional concerns of the pregnant patient. Students will participate in the medical care of the patients and will be evaluated on the knowledge, skills and behaviors expected of a PA student member of the healthcare team in gynecology and obstetrical medicine.
