Catalog description

Anatomy III builds upon foundational anatomical principles to develop a detailed understanding of the structure, organization, and spatial relationships of the endocrine, neurologic, musculoskeletal, rheumatologic, and hematologic systems. Through the study of gross anatomy, regional relationships, and clinically relevant surface landmarks, students examine major endocrine glands, central and peripheral nervous structures, musculoskeletal tissues and joints, and hematopoietic and lymphoid organs in relation to their primary physiological functions. Instruction emphasizes three-dimensional anatomical reasoning using models, prosections, and applied learning activities to support early clinical integration and prepare students for advanced coursework in physiology, clinical medicine, and diagnostic methods.
