This course incorporates budgeting and financial management concepts as applied to health care organizations. The course also focuses on understanding cost determination, pricing, and rate setting in health care environments. Throughout the course, students will apply financial analysis tools to make financial decision as a proactive exercise and a tool for organizational control. Further, students will have opportunity to discuss current health care financial problems by integrating academic and practical approaches and perspectives.
