This graduate-level course is designed to introduce the fundamental concepts of data and artificial intelligence (AI) within the context of public administration and nonprofit sectors. This course highlights the significance of data – why it matters, and how effective visualization can transform research results into compelling, actionable insights. Students will learn how visuals help audiences absorb critical findings and make informed decisions. Additionally, the course explores AI – its importance, functions, and the ways it can enhance workflows in both government and nonprofit environments.
