Catalog description

Through community-based services at hospitals, offices of public officials, non-profit agencies, etc. students will be introduced to the "real world" public administration via intensive examination of issues facing managers. The community-based service may include extensive interaction with practitioners. The field experience will be integrated into the course through readings, reflective writing, group discussion, and other activities.
