Catalog description

This course provides an overview of the central and peripheral neurologic systems and how they support occupational performance across the lifespan. This course provides a comprehensive overview of OT Task oriented theories of learning as well as a review of early neurologic frames of references and more contemporary models. An overview of motor control and motor learning processes with an emphasis on neuromotor recovery, frames of references and their application in professional practice will occur.
