Catalog description

This course focuses on the preparation and delivery of culturally and developmentally appropriate health education curricula in the Pre K-12th grade school setting. Specific topics include methods and materials used in health education, learning assessment, classroom management techniques, student engagement, and creative lesson-planning including evaluation methods. Focus areas of the NASN's Framework for 21st Century School Nursing Practice pertaining to health education will be addressed.
