This course explores the theoretical basis for advanced community health nursing practice through analysis of models and theories that contribute to this unique area of the Nursing discipline. Emphasis is placed on the design of community health nursing processes that emphasize community-nursing practice that is population focused and based on theories and models from nursing and supportive disciplines. The dialectical process includes the examination of the relationship among theory, research and practice .
