NURSING & ORGANIZATIONAL THEORY: PRACTICUM

Catalog description

Application of theories of leadership, nursing and organizational behavior to specific clinical situations. Motivation; learning; team building; quality and safety;and organizational culture will be integrated into nursing leadership practice. This clinical practicum will emphasize the development of nursing leadership skills in organizational assessment and analysis within complex organizations that serve culturally diverse groups of patients. Required for MSN Students in Leadership and Community Health Nursing tracks, must be taken concurrently with NURS 5010 .
