Catalog description
This course introduces nursing informatics. Basic computer literacy is required. Applications to nursing through identification, retrieval, processing, evaluation, and management of health information systems are explored. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning of selected technologies. The impact of information systems on quality, safety, ethics, and evidence-based practice is examined. (Previously NJCU Course NURS-303)
