This course emphasizes clinical nursing practice for the BSN-prepared nurse, including the application of the nursing process as the foundation for clinical decision-making in the care of adults across multiple healthcare settings. Core components of evidence-based nursing practice are implemented as therapeutic interventions to address human responses to actual or potential health problems, with a specific focus on holistic, person-centered care. Students will gain clinical experience in fundamentals of nursing care across various healthcare settings. Clinical clearance is required for this course.
