Diction for Singers

Catalog description

This is a required course for all Performance majors in the Classical-Vocal area of specialization; this course addresses the basics of English, Italian, German, and French diction specifically as they apply to the singer’s art. Emphasis is on the International Phonetic Alphabet and performance-based applications of diction rules. (Previously NJCU Course MDT-628)
