Catalog description

This culminating course for the BA in Music allows students to develop and present a capstone project that synthesizes their studies in performance, music history, theory, education, and other related fields. Students may choose from a recital, research paper, interdisciplinary project, or professional portfolio. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive musicianship, critical thinking, and the application of musical understanding to broader contexts.
