This course will serve as an orientation for students seeking a music education degree. Historical, sociological, philosophical, and psychological aspects of music teaching and learning will be studied. Students will learn about music education pedagogies, curricula, trends, assessments, and resources. School observations will be a component of the course. (Previously NJCU Course MDT-205)
