Catalog description

The course focuses on the study of logistics and transportation services in the marketing of goods and services. Topics covered include customer service, distribution operations, contracts, order processing, carrier selection, transportation costing, and negotiation. The role of information technology and the application of various techniques used in establishing and enhancing customer value as well as maintaining relative cost advantage are emphasized. Formerly MKT 4420 .
