Catalog description

Through screening and analyzing successful films, this course reveals how information is communicated through visual means, how action is used to build dramatic momentum, how dialog is used in scene construction and what makes a character credible and complex. Films are shown in class followed by a scene-by-scene analysis. Students are required to do their own analysis of two films in the course of the term. (Previously NJCU Course MEDI-224)
