In this course, students will analyze the history of media from the beginnings of speech up until the introduction of television in the 1950s and 1060s. Through lecture, video illustration, interactive role play activities and discussions, students will become familiar with some of the major developments in the history of media and of their consequences on society. (Previously NJCU Course MEDI-130)
