Number Sense and Geometry

Catalog description

This course provides elementary education majors a deeper understanding of the mathematics they will teach through an exploration of number systems and place value, arithmetic algorithms, mathematical structures, and elementary geometry and measurement using a problem-solving process approach. Students will be required to reason and communicate mathematically with various representations (Previously NJCU Course MATH-214)
