BASIC ITALIAN II

Catalog description

Introduction to the Italian language, focusing on the relationship between language and Italian culture. Emphasis on developing grammatical competence and communicative skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Six credit hours of one foreign language must be successfully completed to receive three credit hours toward the General Education Disciplinary Requirement for Foreign Languages. Lab required. Formerly: Elementary Italian II. (0-2 years high school Italian or equivalent and Approved Petition Required. Not open to native speakers of Italian).
