Catalog description

A student of demonstrated ability who has a special interest in the subject matter of a particular course or major may be given permission to undertake further study in the area, under supervision of a member of the graduate facility. (Approved Petition Required. The student must secure written approval of the faculty, the appropriate dean, and the graduate office prior to registration. Forms for such approval may be secured from the graduate office. Limit of six credits acceptable in any program).
