Catalog description

In this interdisciplinary creative process course, students explore concepts and practices of adaptation, quotation, copying, and recirculation over time. Using digital media, video, music sampling, motifs, literature, storytelling, visual art, and music, we examine what makes a work original, whether it matters, and why it matters, legally, socially, and ethically. (Previously NJCU Course HON-101)
