Catalog description
This course gives students a comprehensive understanding of the managed care movement. Topics include the history, organization, management, financing, staffing, and oversight of managed care. Students analyze the advantages and disadvantages of managed care. They are given the tools to become facilitators and change agents in developing managed care plans that are responsive to the needs of society. (Previously NJCU Course HLTH-637)
