This course includes a study of nutritional principles and their application to health maintenance, energy, metabolism, calorie requirements of the human body and weight control. The etiology of obesity and the risk factors that contribute to health problems because of under-nutrition, over-nutrition and malnutrition are discussed. (Previously NJCU Course HLTH-205)
