Introduces historical methodology and historiography. Investigates major schools of historical thought from antiquity to the present, theories and methods specifically related to the practice of history. Develops critical reading, thinking, information literacy, research, advanced writing, and presentation skills. Prerequisite for HIST4910. A minium grade of B- is required to progress to HIST 4910.
