A study of the political, social, religious, intellectual and economic currents from the fall of Rome to the developed civilization of the High Middle Ages. Examined will be the conflict of cultures and the blending of the Roman heritage, Christianity and Germanic institutions into medieval civilization. (Previously NJCU Course HIST-350)
