FORENSIC GENETICS LABORATORY

Catalog description

This course represents the laboratory component of Forensic Genetics (FSC 4709). The students will learn all the steps needed to perform a complete forensic genetic analysis: evidence collection, presumptive and confirmatory tests, DNA extraction, amplification and sequencing, statistics analysis of the profile, writing a report to be presented in court.
