Catalog description
This course examines both public and private retirement plans, including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, defined benefit and contribution plans. Regulatory provisions and non-qualified deferred compensation plans are analyzed. Issues faced in retirement, such as community and life-style decisions, concurrent education needs, insurance options, and medical issues, are discussed. (Previously NJCU Course FINC-435)
