CLINICAL PRACTICE IN ART EDUCATION II: SECONDARY

Catalog description

Supervised field experience. Emphasis is on lesson planning, curriculum, and basic teaching strategies and edTPA design. Students spend one full day per week for one semester in a middle or secondary school setting to observe, teach, and engage in school activities. Setting is inclusive of normative and special needs learners. 100 hours of fieldwork are required. Taken in fall semester prior to final semester of study.
