Catalog description

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is based on sound principles, practice and research. The EMS provider must be knowledgeable in all aspects of pre-hospital emergency medicine. This course introduces the Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) student to medications used in the pre-hospital setting that are focused on mechanism of action, indications, contraindications, dosing and correct administration.
