Catalog description

This course provides pre-hospital providers with essential knowledge and skills to enhance safety for themselves, their patients, and their team members. Topics include the provider for personal safety, situational awareness, injury and infection prevention, crew resource management, patient safety, roadway operations and projection from violence. Emphasis is placed on real-world application through case studies, simulations and current best practices to promote a culture of safety across all levels of EMS operations.
