Elem Math Methods I

Catalog description

With a focus on learners in grades K-2, this course is designed to build candidates’ conceptual understanding of mathematical content and processes. It also addresses the integration of literacy skills in mathematics. The course will equip candidates with the pedagogical content knowledge and tools to conduct cognitively guided mathematics instruction, assess student learning, and remediate difficulties.
