Catalog description

Required of candidates completing the MA in Urban Education–Teaching andLearning in Urban Schools Specialization. With support and direction, teachers work independently to design a teacher-research project on their classrooms, implement the study, and evaluate the results. Students apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the pre-requisite research methods course (EDU 630 or an approved alternative) using concepts and skills associated with the teacher-research paradigm. To complement their research projects, students completeeither an annotated bibliography or a traditional literature review. (Previously NJCU Course EDU-631)
