ADV TOICS SECONDARY CHEMISTRY

Catalog description

This course addresses topics in the AP chemistry curriculum identified for secondary students. Major emphasis includes further explorations of atomic structure and chemical periodicity, thermochemistry and thermodynamic, chemical kinetics and equilibrium, chemical bonding and reactions, electrochemistry, organic and nuclear chemistry. Pedagogical applications to enhancing students' performances with laboratory experiences and technology are emphasized.
