Catalog description

This course deals with the changes that are taking place in education today. It examines current and innovative methods of teaching in a variety of settings that include urban studies. This course addresses what students are learning, the relationship between theory, research, and educational practices, and expectations of the professional educator. Master’s students learn the art of grant writing as a part of this course. This basic professional course is open to all majors. (Previously NJCU Course EDU-616)
