Offered Fall Semester OnlyThis course prepares prospective middle and secondary urban teachers to select and use research-based instructional materials and strategies. Course work emphasizes acquisition of skills, orientations, and knowledge of reflective urban teachers and focuses on ways to organize instruction and develop materials that make all students' active learners, tapping family and community funds of knowledge.
