This course introduces fundamental concepts and methods of game theory used to analyze strategic decision-making in economics, business, politics, and social sciences. Key topics include Nash Equilibrium, dominant strategies, mixed strategies, and subgame perfection. Students will explore non-cooperative games, learn how to model strategic behavior and to analyze outcomes of competition. Real-world examples will be used to understand how game theory applies to markets, auctions, bargaining, and public policy.
