This course focuses on developing knowledge and skills for teaching mathematics to children in Pre-K and Kindergarten settings. New Jersey Student Learning Standards-Mathematics for Kindergarten (2023), New Jersey State Preschool Teaching and Learning Standards (2014) and New Jersey Preschool Classroom Teaching Guidelines (2019), with a particular focus on mathematics are emphasized.
