INDEPENDENT STUDY: RESEARCH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

Catalog description

This course provides an opportunity for students to experience the research process in Computer Science. Working with a faculty member, students will be given topics which are not available in courses offered during the semester. Students will conduct supervised research and author a research paper in a professional manner to document their findings. The research results should be presented via paper, oral presentation or poster. This course can serve as a free elective for computer science majors.
